About Jood
What is Jood?
Jood is a fully remote private weight-loss clinic providing safe, clinically guided care through licensed UK prescribers.
Our treatments are dispensed from a GPhC-registered pharmacy and delivered discreetly across the UK.
Who is behind Jood?
Jood is operated by qualified pharmacists and healthcare professionals with years of experience in clinical weight management.
Every consultation is overseen by a UK-licensed prescriber.
Is Jood a legitimate clinic?
Yes. Jood is fully compliant with UK healthcare regulations.
We work only with licensed prescribers and GPhC-registered pharmacies.
Our service is also LegitScript approved, ensuring full safety and transparency.
Medication & Treatment
What treatments do you offer?
Jood provides access to licensed GLP-1 medications, including Mounjaro, Wegovy, and Ozempic, prescribed only when clinically appropriate.
All treatments are reviewed and dispensed safely under prescriber supervision.
How do these medications work?
GLP-1 medications help regulate appetite and blood-sugar levels, supporting gradual, sustainable weight loss when combined with healthy lifestyle changes.
Are these medications safe?
Yes. All treatments supplied through Jood are UK-licensed and clinically proven.
Our clinicians assess each patient individually to ensure the safest and most suitable option.
What if I experience side effects?
Mild effects such as nausea or bloating can occur when starting treatment.
If you experience anything persistent or severe, contact your Jood clinician immediately for tailored advice.
Can I switch between medications?
Yes, if your prescriber agrees it’s clinically appropriate.
We’ll help review your progress and recommend the best next step for you.
Consultations & Eligibility
Who is eligible for treatment?
You may be eligible if your BMI is 30 or higher (or 27 with certain health conditions).
Eligibility is confirmed following your online consultation with a UK-licensed prescriber.
Do I need a GP referral?
No. Jood is a private clinic, so you can start your consultation directly without a GP referral.
However, you can choose to share your results with your GP if you wish.
How does the consultation work?
You’ll complete a secure online assessment about your health, goals, and medications.
A licensed pharmacist reviews your details and, if suitable, issues your medication.
How long does approval take?
Most consultations are reviewed within 24 hours.
Once approved, your medication is dispatched the same or next working day.
 Delivery & Payments
How will my medication be delivered?
All parcels are sent via DPD, arriving in plain, unbranded packaging for complete privacy.
You’ll receive live tracking updates once your order is shipped.
Is delivery free?
No. Delivery is £4.99 for all UK orders — fast, tracked, and discreet.
How much does treatment cost?
Treatment starts from £79 per month, including your consultation, medication, delivery, and ongoing support.
There are no hidden fees, and you can cancel any time.
Can I cancel or pause my plan?
Yes. You can cancel or pause your plan at any time through your Jood account or by contacting our support team.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major debit and credit cards, as well as secure online payments through trusted UK gateways.
