How does Jood’s weight-loss treatment actually work?

After you complete a short online health questionnaire, our clinicians review your answers and create a personalised plan that combines GLP-1 medication with weekly coaching and app-based habit tracking. Your order is dispensed only once the medical team approves it, so every treatment is tailored and clinically supervised.

Is the medication safe and evidence-based?

Yes. The GLP-1 medicines we prescribe have been through large-scale clinical trials and, when used under medical supervision, are generally well-tolerated. Most members see meaningful weight-loss within the first six months while our team monitors progress and side-effects.

Can I upload a prescription from my own GP?

What if I miss an injection?

If you miss one dose, take it as soon as you remember or wait until your next scheduled day. Miss two or more and please message our clinicians— you may need to drop back a strength before restarting. Always leave at least four days between injections if you’re shifting your “injection day.”

For Wegovy® we usually step up every 28 days from 0.25 mg to 1 mg before holding or moving higher; for Mounjaro® we follow a similar monthly ladder up to 10 mg. You’re free to pause, stay on a lower dose or move up later, just give us three days’ notice before your next dispatch.
